Biography

Fiorenzo Barindelli born in Cesano Maderno, February 29th 1952, is an architect and painter. He painted his first works in oil in the 70s, driven by friendship with the painter Roberto Villa. In 2005 opens Open Art Studio, a creative workshop where he devoted himself to the study and production of its paints.
His work is continuing the path of "Optical Art", started by masters such as Victor Vasarely.

He partecipated in the 2007 edition of the 52nd Venice Biennale in the section "Collateral Events". During the same year held a great exhibition at the headquarter of UBS in Manno-Lugano, and has exhibited at CVB Gallery in New York.

The magazine "Shanghai Artist" dedicated an article about him and has been included in the "Catalogue of Modern Art" published by Giorgio Mondadori.

In 2008 he was selected to the Internal Competition of Seetal (Switzerland) between 2612 works from 39 countries.

In 2009 he won the “Critics Prize” at the International Festival of Art in Rome.

In 2010 was selected among the artists participating to the International Biennal of Asolo, Also this year he did a great personal show in Villa Raimondi in Minoprio and will exhibit his art in Bologna and Ostuni.

His works have been exhibited in Abu-Dhabi, Basel, Buenos Aires, Bolzano, Copenhagen, Dubai, Florence, Kuala-Lumpur, Helsinki, Istanbul, Madrid, Milan, Montevideo, Naples, Beijing, Rome and in many other cities in Italy and all over the world.
